Birthday Party

So Its been three years,
since Ive opened up my ears
just taking me in everything I see.

And in around three weeks
Ill be packing all I need,
just taking off in a good seat
to arrive in the city,
to arrive in the city.

Welcome to my birthday party,
welcome to my dying day.
Everyones got a backpack full of problems,
but everyones got a pocket full of change.
Of change, Of change.

And its sounds so strange,
but Ive been counting everyday
like it's one more day I dont have to change my ways.

And I stopped writing poetry,
and started up a diary
so you could see exactly what I mean,
can you see exactly what I mean.
