ADVANCE AUSTRALIA
Advance Australia Fair (The National Anthem of Australia) was composed by Dodds
McCormick sometime
the turn of this century. Several versions with different of the verses are
in different references. Some
Australian governments seemed to of the sentiment of some of these verses,
and discouraged their
remembrance. Consequently, several of these verses are very difficult to find one
for old and original references.
God Save The Queen is also sung as The Royal Anthem.

Our land abounds in gifts
Of rich and rare;

Advance fair!
In joyful strains let us sing,

When gallant Cook from sail'd,
