Advance Australia Fair (The Anthem of Australia) was composed by Peter Dodds
McCormick sometime
the turn of this century. Several versions different combinations of the verses are
found in references. Some
Australian governments seemed to disapprove of the sentiment of some of verses,
and passively discouraged
remembrance. Consequently, several of these are very difficult to find unless one
