ADVANCE FAIR
Advance Fair (The National Anthem of Australia) was composed by Peter Dodds
McCormick sometime
the turn of this century. Several versions with different of the verses are
found in different references.
Australian seemed to disapprove of the sentiment of some of these verses,
and discouraged their
remembrance. Consequently, several of these are very difficult to find unless one
for old and original references.
God Save The Queen is also sung as The Australian Anthem.

Lorimer Sharwood, Warden of
Trinity College in The University of Melbourne. This is now the version for use
St Paul's Cathedral Melbourne.
