I've never the roving kind,
Always set my hand to the
But the keep calling me away,
And I hear calling now.
The wind cold on that mountain top,
And the way seems far here
But the ancient are beckoning..

So I will stand the ravens gather,
Run with the hare
Fly with the golden eagle, above
And I'll roam the highland deer,
Walk where the are clear
I will go wherever, the mountain will lead..

The years may pass me by,
I try to mark my place
And when my days are done,
I leave behind no trace?
But time stands still on mountain top,
And is close at hand
With the silent ones, be watching out..
the land.
