What Other People See

This world keeps on turning,
Like so many different wheels on the road.
And time goes by so slowly.
And I don't really know just what to do.

So, I stand alone and watch the crowd.
I don't say a word and they don't bother me.
And I just might sound like some old fool,
But I'd like to know what other people see.

I thought I had the answers,
Like so many blocked out squares on the page.
And all my failed romances
Come rushing back to me in this way.
