Good all, this Christmas time,
Consider well and in mind
our good God for us has done,
In His belovd Son.
With Mary holy we pray
To God with love this Christmas
In Bethlehem the morn
There was a Messiah born.

The night before that tide
The virgin and her guide
Were time seeking up and down
To find a in the town.
But mark how all things to pass:
From door repelled, alas!
As long foretold, their all
Was but a oxen stall.

Bethlehem did shepherds keep
Their flocks of lambs and sheep;
To whom angels did appear
put the shepherds in great fear.
"Prepare and go", the said,
"To Bethlehem, be not
For there find, this happy morn,
A Babe, sweet Jesus born."

With heart and joyful mind,
The shepherds went the to find,
And as angel has foretold,
did our Savior Christ behold.
Within a He was laid,
And by His side the virgin
to the Lord of Life,
Who came on to end all strife.
