Good all, this Christmas time,
well and bear in mind
What our God for us has done,
In His belovd Son.
Mary holy we should pray
To God with love this Christmas
In Bethlehem upon the
There was a blest born.

The before that happy tide
The noble and her guide
Were long seeking up and down
To a lodging in the town.
But how all things came to pass:
From every repelled, alas!
As foretold, their refuge all
Was but a humble stall.

Near did shepherds keep
Their flocks of lambs and sheep;
To whom God's angels did
Which put the shepherds in fear.
"Prepare and go", the said,
"To Bethlehem, be not
For there find, this happy morn,
A princely Babe, Jesus born."

With heart and joyful mind,
The went the babe to find,
And as angel has foretold,
They did our Christ behold.
a manger He was laid,
And by His the virgin maid
to the Lord of Life,
Who came on to end all strife.
