Luyện nghe bài hát Walking Prayers

We are Prayers
Angels leave love in our palms
Our hands Scripture
We are Life Givers meant for Work
We build bodies in our
born of our daydreams who will one day tell our stories
We tend to them in back seats and stalls
Lullabies and hymns, we pray over them
"May be safe, may they be strong
May they be safe, may be strong"
is our song
Our Mother, Sister, Daughter, Woman, song
We wear wounded hearts badges of courage
Carrying the weight of the on each shoulder
lessons in battle scars
We are Peace
Our hips the framework for
The foundation for magic takes tangible form
Future generations depend on the of our bodies
And what will we tell
When boys owning tree houses grow up to be boys governments

Boys who have forgotten their first home was their womb
Took their first in the embrace of Her Arms
We must remind
our Breasts you were fed,
We are Shelter, We are
Our are Holy Ground
So violating a is a violation against God
A sin against yourself, Karmic
We are Geometry, Divine Pyramids and Astrology
Not to be away like pearls to swine
Meant to be not objectified
We were not always swayed by billboards beckoning from rooftops
shopped glam shots, night clubs, and hot spots
Skylines laced man-made messages
Morphing our self-images into warped anorexic
A gender biased consumer agenda has us for Days
Eyebrows threaded, applied, hair done, legs shaved, bikini waxed,
Push-up bra, high heels intact, and we will get those hours back
Our reflection is not in red-carpet, main-street, movie
It is in the Sky
The Moon's soft mirror somewhere just past Mars
Woman are the Beat of the World
We are
We are
brought Jesus through
Jochebed brought Moses
brought Muhammad through
Isis Horus through
Harriet Tubman brought hundreds
We are
Our love is
Our voices are of light
Our hearts, our harbor,
Our songs far and
We are every continent, every signal and psalm,
Every prayer, element,
Day and
We are Earth, Air, Water,
Let us ourselves
Be our own
Rewrite the fairy
So Sleeping wakes her own damn self-up,
Slays the dragon, looks at herself in the and says
"Princess, I you!"
