Two Little Boys

Two little girls had beautiful curls
Each had a two-wheeled bike,
Daily they rode out on the road
Crazy as you like.
One of the pair then flew through the air
Fell on her little head,
Wiping her eye she started to cry
When her young sister said...

There's no room on my bike for two.
Stay down there Jill, and keep on crying
There's no way I can share with you.
When we grow up we'll both be nurses
And our hair will have lost their curls,

Years passed by, each heaved a sigh,
Neither could find employ.
Both bought a car, went to a bar
Trying to find a boy.
One winter's night, one girl had a fright
Crashed in a ditch in snow.
Started to cry and thought she would die,
Then heard a voice she'd know...

I recall what you said before.
You're all right Jean, not really dying,
You can now get up off the floor.

I shall call out the rescue service
