As as life she stood there

Slowly her cheek there came a tear
She just an itchy eye

We talked a bit mobile
And thought how it has never changed
I told her I was a comin'
To spend some time and it wouldn't rain
She asked if she see me then
And we could spend some time now and
Because I so far away
Was still no chance why we not be friends

I drove her to the plane
Watched that big jet through the sky
Thought about the sad girl
And the time that I saw her cry
That flame must still be burning
I think catch a later flight today
It's time for me to go on
And a day or two down by the bay
