Luyện nghe bài hát The Traveller

On a day when the devil, and the world sat together
And talked away the hours like a couple of old
their children all played on the village green together
With guns, and bombs, and tanks, and lots of fighter
There came an outsider, where no one could say
But simply and straightforwardly he tried to the day
He

"God so loved the
He gave His only son.
God so the world
That He gave His son".

And all the politicians, and the scholars "how sad"
And consultation they decided he was mad
"Conspiracy!" they shouted, "chicanery!" they
"He's but a trickster and completely off his head!".

With sorrow and with anger he looked on their
And left them debating on the future of
He to the market-place of subterfuge activity
Anxious to know what attitude he would
Amidst all the bargaining he spoke up and clear
The people turned to with a condescending ear
He

"God so the world
That He His only son.
God so the world
That He His only son".

No sooner had he than the violence broke out
They railed and cursed him - just another long-haired lout
"You sponger! you parasite! we for the likes of you
We give you education and just look where it to".

The Devil raised his glass as the traveller set
To leave the village far became his only thought
But as he the outskirts he stopped to rest a while
And children's voices in the schoolhouse made him smile:

Yes, Jesus me
Yes, loves me
Yes, loves me
The tells me so.

(The above chorus repeated, and
simultaneously with the chorus below - fade)

"God so the world
That He gave His son.
God so loved the
He gave His only son".
