The Sky

Got frostbite on my knees
The trees they were looking down on me
I was kneeling down almost asleep, alone
It was five-hundred-forty degrees below

What I can see is a bellowing breeze
The freeze, the world it can't conceive
Redeem me shining sun, I'm cold
But the world outside it's a heavy load on me

I saw the sky turn a brand-new yellow
It was shining so bright and it didn't feel so mellow at all
I saw the angel hall, no crystal ball
And the world could suddenly come and fall

I looked closer, now you can see me
Standing by a trailer just beside the tree
The angels flying up came down to the ring
And I heard all the world and I heard them sing

I fell away for a moment, then I got my grasp
On the sun above and the newfound task
To help myself and others
And not throw the world on the shelf above my wealth

Stealth, it's something I don't need
The world and me we're full of greed
But there's another thing better than the word and the letter
