The Self Discovery

They say don't be hard on yourself
But I keep on making the same mistake
I need to learn to live for now
To live for me and not anyone else

Split life livings got me feeling so unforgiving
Like everything around me is slipping
Wisdom and fate just seem the same
But the path I chose has been divided two ways

This is a message sent in time to the future me

That we search across the world for our place
Life's not a rehearsal, this is not a phase
I had the rest of my life to work and join the rest
This was the only thing that made any sense

In the present I'm struggling to find any answers
Family and friends know that time and distance
Keep tearing me apart, I walk alone
I'm in this on my own

My hearts been set on this so long
That I can't look back, I must go on
We must do this whilst we're still young
