The Old Wind

the old wind blows
and scrapes the land below
the wind, sweeps the seas
and turns the sky to churn a breeze

and on that wind was born a child of cold
her eyes so blue
her cheeks so rose
her hair as white as fallen snow
with breath and step
she steered the winds of old

the old wind blows
across the lands below
the wind, it tells a tale of all we know
and casts a spell under the morning glow
