Luyện nghe bài hát The Many and the Few

My is King Cyrus, my order I give,
You Jews can go back to home
To build your holy again
In the of Palestine.

We've sung and danced o'er the hot roads
Back to Yisroel's land
We with plow and rake and hoe
And we the works of our hands

My is Ezra the Teacher man
I brought my book along
I brought my flock to
that land called Babylon

I'll you my Talmud Torah book
And the prophet's to you
And you'll be fertile and
If you your Torah true

My name is the Great
More than half of wide world is mine
Come stand around, my all
I'm on my bed here to die

As the King of Syria and
Antiochus the Fourth, stand
To the Jews if they refuse
To our idols and gods

My is Hannah, my first born son
Now stands this king
of keeping the Sabbath laws
By the soldiers I see him

It's one by one my seven
In front of my cut down
For keeping to the laws
I pay with my blood now

My name is Mattathias, I've got five
In City we dwell
They tried to me bow down to their gods
Two of the King's flunkeys I

A hundred or more who'll fight to be
Did come to these with me
On my death bed leader I'll name
'Tis Judah, the

My is Judah, the Macabee
By the name of the I'm called
We'll pray to God every fight
Till all of our enemies

Appolonius, the Governor, day I killed
And his we did bust
few of his soldiers run away in the wind
But most we've dropped in the dust

Syron is my name, Syria came
To destroy fool Macabee
My was great, his army was small
But he did win over me

To deliver the to the hands of his few
For God is no trick at all
In a few short my army did break
And we flooded this with blood

My is Lysias, I dreamed up a plan
To burn the Jews as they slept
I got there, their tents were all bare
And the Macabee's army had

He my own camp as my soldiers did sleep
And he killed thousand in fear
My elephants, my horsemen, my footsoldiers, all
Judah hammered down from the rear

My name is Jerusalem Judah came back
To build up my Temple more
To cut the weeds and thorny brush
That grows my windows and doors

Whole stones, whole stones, we'll and pray
To God as a Jew
love the hateful many did place
In the of a God loving few

We found in our a little oil jug
Just enough for the for one night
That one little jug burned Eight days
And it our new temple in light

Eight we'll burn and a Ninth one too
Every New that comes and goes
We'll think of the many in the of the few
And thank God we are of the Jews
