Who should enter but the man Harlem.

Everybody their eyes,
Women starting sighs,
hollered, "Music, lights and gin,"

Everybody a space,
They had big, broad smiles on face,
How they all to see the man from Harlem.

When he in to step
He filled everyone with pep,
He twitched and it just was a dirty shame.

Women him with amaze,
Each one said have the man from Harlem.

He looked in the corner,
And saw a couple of and they sure did look kinda low.
Another cat walked up, and said to the man Harlem,
"Go over there and see the matter with them girls."
And they said, "I'm low."
And he said, "I've got what you need:
Come on, sisters, light up on these and get high and forget about everything."
