The Happy Dead

How did we get so dim? Our light has rusted. I look in the mirror, can you recognize? Remember when we were so bright and alive? Now we're like corpses wandering in a daze. The journey here blew out our fire. We can rekindle the debris. We're numb anyway.
The happy dead, we've become. Yes we know but we won't admit it.
