Luyện nghe bài hát The First Christmas (1950 Version)

Hi and girls, I'm Perry Como,
And I'm gonna tell you the most wonderful in the whole world,
The Story of the Christmas!

Now suppose you make believe this is many, many ago,
A long time you were born!
You're on a hillside, near a little town in Palestine,
Do you see the man in the distance, slowly, leading a donkey?
His is Joseph!
And riding on the is Mary.
come a long, long way,
And they're heading for the near the hillside,
On we're standing!
Something very special will happen in town tonight!
For is the little town of Bethlehem!

Oh little of Bethlehem,
How we see thee lie,
Above thy deep and sleep,
The silent go by!
Yet in thy streets shineth,
The light!
The and fears of all the years,
Are met in tonight!

Now let's follow Joseph and Mary Bethlehem,
It's dark and all the rooms at the Inn are taken,
So they the night at a stable.
Now I told you something was gonna happen, and it did!
A boy is born to Mary,
And called him Jesus.
had no baby's crib, so Mary puts little Jesus to sleep,
In the soft hay of a manger!

Come, come, to the manger,
Little Lord Jesus is born on day!

Now while Jesus in the manger asleep,
tiptoe back to the hillside near Bethlehem,
Where the Shepherds tend flock.
All at the Shepherds are frightened,
be frightened too,
Because a great suddenly shines in the sky!
the animals are hushed and still,
But then you the voice of an Angel of the Lord!
And you're no frightened,
For the Angel brings news,
News of a Saviour born day,
of Christ the Lord!

The First Noel! the did say,
Was to certain Shepherds,
In fields as lay,
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel!
is the King of Israel!

Now and girls,
Remember, we're still making believe with the Shepherds and the Angel,
On the hillside Bethlehem.
The ask the Angel,
Where to find the ?
And the tells them to go to the manger.
And as they leave the sky is filled with Angels singing,
to God! On earth Peace, Goodwill, to Men!

The hurry to the manger,
on their knees before the baby,
And worship him!
For He is the Lord!

Oh! all ye faithful,
and triumphant!
Oh Come ye, Oh! ye, to Bethlehem!
and behold Him,
Born the of Angels,
Oh! let us adore Him,
Oh! Come let us Him,
Oh! let us adore Him,
the Lord!

And now, look up the sky!
See that bright twinkling in the heavens ?
Far away, three men are at that star just as we are!
riding on camels,
And they're using the star as a guide to them to the Christ-child.
Who are these three men who the star ?
find out!

We Kings of Orient are,
gifts, we traverse afar,
Field and fountain, and mountain,
Following star!

right boys and girls,
The three men on the camels are the three men,
The new star them to Bethlehem,
To a baby lying in a manger!
There the three wise men gifts to the Christ-child,
The first gifts ever given to anyone,
A of gold, of frankincense, and of Mir!
The men fall on their knees to worship Him,
A great settles on the night,
For the Holy Night!

night, holy night,
All is calm, all is bright,
'Round yon virgin and child,
infant so tender and mild!
Sleep in peace,
in heavenly peace!

When we Christmas,
Think of Bethlehem, the Mary, the three wise men,
And the of the Christ-child!
The Christmas!

Oh! let us adore Him,
