WRITERS FERLIN HUSKY,

Well, I bought me a donkey, about four tall
To plough my cotton in the early
He's runnin' around, it was an sin
I had to build a fence to my donkey in
I up the wire with a battery charge
To keep my from a-running at large
Inside this bin I him loose
Thrilled by volts of juice

Which way did my go
If you see him let me
I haven't my donkey since
He backed into electrified fence
Now, the first he backed up against it
He threw back his and he had a fit
He brayed real loud and he hit gear
He up into tyhe stratosphere
I just got word from
A up there was looking for work
my donkey and his name is Jack
Oh, how I wish come on back
Now, more word from Palamar
A man up there was a-watching the
While looking through his
He nearly had a stroke
He saw riding up the rainbow trail
Two long ears and a puckered up
This thing he saw when he the states
Was a donkey heading for the gates
