"'Tis enough the Elephant is very like a tree!"

And the Fifth who chanced to the ear
"Even the blindest man
Can what this resembles most
the fact who can
This of an Elephant is very like a fan!"

And the Sixth no sooner had
about the to grope
on the swinging tail
that fell his scope
"I see," quoth he, "the Elephant is very a rope!"

Disputed and long
in his opinion
Exceeding and strong
Each was in the right
but all in the wrong

So theologic wars,
The disputants, I
Rail on in ignorance
Of what other mean
And prate about an
Not one of has seen!
