Luyện nghe bài hát The Ballad of Ira Hayes

Gather 'round me
A I will tell
About a brave Indian lad
You should remember

From a of Pima Indians
A proud and peaceful
They farmed the valley
Out in Arizona

Down ditches for a thousand years
The water rushed
Till the white man their water rights
And the water hushed

Iras was hungry
Their fields thick with weeds
But war came Ira volunteered
And the white mans greed

Call him Ira Hayes
He wont answer
Not that whiskey Indian
Or who went to war

Well, they battled up Iwo Jima
Two and fifty men
But only lived
To walk back again

And after the fight was
And Old proudly raised
Among the men who her high
an Indian, Ira Hayes

Call him Ira Hayes
He wont answer
Not that whiskey drinking
Or Marine who to war

Well, Ira Hayes a hero
Celebrated throughout the
He was and speeched and honored
Hell, shook his hand

But he was just a Pima
No food, no friend, no
Back home cared what Ira had did
And when do the Indians

Well, Ira took to hard
often was his home
They used to let him raise the flag
And lower it just like youd a dog a bone

And Ira died drunk one morning
All in the land hed fought to save
Two of water in a lonely ditch
Was the grave for Ira

him drunken Ira Hayes
He wont answer
Not that drinking Indian
Or who went to war

Yeah, call him Ira Hayes
But his land is as dry
And his ghost, well, its lying there
In the where Ira died

Call him Ira Hayes
He answer anymore
Not that drinking Indian
Or Marine who to war
