A woman's face with nature's own hand
Hast thou the mistress of my passion
A woman's gentle but not acquainted
With shifting change as is false women's

An eye more bright than theirs false in rolling
the object whereupon it gazeth
A man in hue all in his controlling
Which steals eyes and women's souls amazeth

And for a woman wert thou created
Till nature as she wrought thee fell
And by addition me of thee
By adding one to my purpose nothing

But since she prick'd out for women's pleasure
