There's a place on the river
the Carriboux Saloon
Where the miners go to spend gold
An' listen to the sad, tune

Feast eyes' upon the beauty
Of the lovely Yukon
They can but they better not touch her
She belongs to Pierre

They say he found down in
Won her at a young and age
Now she up here, while the men drink beer
Like a bird in a gilded

Well, one a man from Tulsa
Challenged Pierre for her Rose's
Now he lies below the the snow
In wild and savage land

Some nights when the Northern are shinin'
And the cold north wind is howlin' the snow
Is it just the wind that you hear
Or it be the sound of the Yukon Rose?

one night a Bigfoot
Just to be passin' by
And there in the dark his heart, his heart
Was by Rose's lullaby

So he walked into the bar
And every one to stare
But he to them just like a bearded man
In a of grizzly hair

Bigfoot saw the Yukon
And their eyes meet the gloom
An' she was by his gentle eyes
And was drawn the room

Now they say love has no bounderies
An' I reckon it's right
'Cause beauty and the savage
Fell in that night

Some nights when the Northern are shinin'
An' the North winds are howlin' 'cross the snow
Is it just the wind you hear sighin'
Or it be the song of the Yukon Rose?

Now Pierre was in the back
Dealin' cards when the music
He laid his hand down and around
And said nobody touch pot

He out to the bar room
And the began
An' his ran cold when he saw the Rose
In the arms of the tall man

Pierre up and he grabbed her
An' shoved her the stage
And the gentle look in the eyes
wild and red with rage

An' then just one mighty blow
Pierre lay on the saw-dust
The tall strange man took the hand
An' walked out the door

No one dared to
And where he took her no one
But we all back when we saw the tracks
Of in the snow

Some say she probably that winter
She have I s'pose
But last night under the Northern Lights
I heard the song of the Rose

Some nights when the Northern are shinin'
And the cold north wind is across the snow
Is it just the that you hear sighin'
Or could it be the of the Yukon Rose?
