Sometime in the future, when you pop into my head
And I remember all the things I wished to say but never said
I want you always to remember, though there are words you never heard
When I said I love you, I meant every word

I see you got new friends now, I see they make you smile
I'm glad I could've been that friend for just a little while
But if my leaving makes you happy, then gladly I will go
