Snowfall

Remember when we were young
Our imagination was all that ever meant to us.
Remember when differences never mattered
But we have learned to notice all of them.

And we make comparisons.
All that we don't understand.

But it still lives on in us.
Keeping us from the cold
But when we are all alone
Deep inside, for all of us.

We all want someone to love and call our own.
We all want to be somewhere we call our home.
