Sluggish

there is something
very strange
that's going on
inside my brain

i'm told it may be chemical,
or i may be insane

couch potato,
bed plantain,
i have no reason
to complain

but i still feel unsatisfied,
perhaps i'll entertain...

the dishes are clean,

but advertising,
i just wish my friends
would text me back
before this egghead
starts to crack
