It was gonna get before it got any better

Well when the sun came up the died down
We got a few minutes and we were sleepin' sound
Then a soldier knocked on our and said
"Last night we brought in seven dead and wounded"

So we went to the hospital by day

Then the shells and the bombs dawn again
