In the month of December on the 25th day,
We observe a Holy Celebration,
And with joyful hearts deck the halls in glad array,
And we sing in praise and adoration,

On the Eve of the Christmas, when we gather 'round the pine,
And we tell that story sweet and tender,
And we raise our glasses of the mull winter wine,
With a toast to the season and its splendor,

On the morning of Christmas when we joyfully rise,
And wake the children from their slumber,
