The hell I'm in is I don't know where I belong/I've been out of place and company far too long.
Seeking truth from trip to trip not filling any role/getting heavy in my mind-warped, shellshocksoul.

Lord, I need peace in my soul/I need peace in my shellshocksoul/I need it now to make me whole.

I've been trying to fight evil with what they call good/but in this vain battle I don't do as I should.
But when I do as I should I see changing morals/and what I thought was holy is only full of holes.

To love people for their humanity and to plant the seeds/that grow into a deeper understanding of our blindness and our need.

The hell of thinking I have peace then storm clouds draw nigh/believing what they call truth then I find it's a lie.
