Said Forecast

A hard wind blows from the east now-a-days
But the weather man says its not gonna rain at all
But everybody knows when the white clouds turn to grey
A hard rain is liable to fall

The paper says theres one million dead
The garbage man says thats old news as he watch the paper shred
The TV host with his reassuring smile
Saying thingsll all be fine after awhile

People sayin stay out of the sun and rain
The air we breathe is turning into smog
If everybody thinks that their ways the only way
Weather man says a heavy chance of fog

Cause people keep on sayin what theyll say
Cause everythings got a side to see from every different way
And the people keep on doin what theyll do
Cause all youve done is what you do by the time the day is through
And the TV host with his reassuring smile
Sayin thingsll all be fine after awhile

After all is said and saying things is out of date
Whats left to do but find the true in the things that as of late
Have fallen to the wayside of the things that we have said
Which meant so much more to us than all the things in our own heads

Cause whats a man to do when all hes seen
Has all been laid before his eyes and written like a dream
And whats a man to do when all hes done
Is all history thats been done by everyone
And if the weather man says a heavy chance of rain
It dont mean the rain wont pour on just the same.
