Old Christmas Toy

It chatters it cling clings no more zip
or Green lights red lights snow on the ground
Time to go see the new toys in the town
Here and there every where you see
Brand new toys that look good to me
But don't compare to that old Christmas toy
I still have that broken toy
When I was a boy
It chatters it cling clings
Makes all sorts of noises and sings
But doesn't have any zip zap
Or roar any more none of that

Christmas time is here again
White bearded Santa asking what you what
Stores filled with toys and trains trees in their lot
Makes me fill my mind with joy
But still can't get over my old Christmas toy

So bring it down from the attic
Put it under the tree
My kids will play with it they can see
