It started so good, but good things don't last
I did what I should, but it went by too fast
Now so much time has been thrown away
While all of my rhymes begged me not to stay

If I got my way, I would only play
But this man stays at a desk all day
It's never too late to show what you've got

I'll write about love, about things and people I care about
Cuz it's not about money, when you know what you'll never be

Now I stand in between, reality and fantasy
