The steadfast shuddered
roaring fires ran over
in tears & howling
a female form: Mother of all

Like a faint shadow she rose the ground
trembling & pale like a new-born
beneath her feet a vast, unprolific
above her head the space

For ages she wandered in the forsaken
for life-forms
She found nothing but a dire
a soul-shuddering

of sulphurous smoke
torrents of lava, & clouds
terrible tore the mantle of Earth
unquenchable consumed the ground

Her lamenting wept upon the void
but were no one to hear her
She was in a world of inertia
divided by & sorrows

the vast deluge of her tears
an unfathomable ocean
An ocean teemed strange organism
and creatures in sorrow

Various forms of crawled out from the sea
and mustard the great Mother
And she rejoiced beholding her daughters &
and gave them the & the Skies to conquer
