Mother Earth

Pull the trees from her body
Rape the minerals from her spirit
Scrape the oils from her skin
And bury our dear mother
Dump the poisons of man
Onto her once fair land
All for profit and pride
Tears fall from mothers eyes
Shaking earth and rolling thunder
Lightning strike clouds form a twister
Earth mother who is her master
Come the cleansing and great disaster
I walk with dear mother
And listen to her children
All suffering and dying
The innocent are crying
And what is the purpose
Of hurting the mother
She cant stay much longer
Her pulse is fading weaker
