Monster Mae

She was just a little country girl
with big dreams.
Little Mae was impudent if not
that smart.
She was certain she was gonna hit
the big screen.
And by luck of scheming she would get
that part.
She could really picture it: The limousines, the flattery, the feeling of superiority.
Well beyond her wildest dreams
a sychophantic cultery (?) attending to her every single wish.

To awaken senses that had gone
quite numb.
It was little Mae that his old eyes devoured.
