Staring through the window at a thousand city street lights flashing yellow in the night.
The on and off reminds me of the voice I hear beside me and the pain that it invites.
If I could see the future I might understand the reason for just giving up without a fight.

The storyline is somewhere in between the need for someone and the need for letting go.
Just as youve expected, the hero gets rejected, and the maiden steals the show.
The characters keep changing but my life is still the same and now my world is burning slowly.

As the keeper latch releases I feel a sudden breeze and then the dampness of the night.
Slipping through the casing of this empty life Im wasting to an almost perfect flight.
