I am the resurrection and the
He believeth in Me
he were dead
Yet shall he

A certain man had died in the of Bethany
And Lazarus was his
The says he was a man that Jesus loved
And his sisters it was a shame
Mary and Martha for Jesus' healing touch
To come and raise their

they loved that boy so much
But has a plan not known to any man
That would soon take their pain
They were for to come and say

Lazarus,
Lazarus forth

When he died he to where
The saints of God did stay, in the holding
They lived the tomb
he saw Elijah, Moses, Samuel, even Ruth
And all the jammed up in a room

He around and saw
Ol' Gideon standin' by the
He walked up and said, "Hey
What's this group for?"

Well Giddie

Have a seat man the meeting is starting soon"
Mary and Martha, just wanted to see

Can I get a witness for the tonight?"
Abraham it off
Said, "I want to know that I knew him"

He gave a child to my wife

When I was dead"
said, "I knew
When some Philistines tried to me"

"I took a donkey jawbone and a few heads"
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego
We knew him in the furnace
Jonah said, "Man, he gave me a chance"

Daniel cried out I knew him in a den of lions
The Ghost hit King David
He just started to dance, Lazarus got so
He shouted Hey I him too
Moses put down his

Said, "Hey, the new kid
Needless to say the got real quiet"
When said but I knew him
In a way you all did
You see man I walked with him and talked him

I saw how his awed the crowds
Those famous tears of compassion I could see
He used to come over to my house church
And my sisters make him dinner
And every month I supported his ministry

You see man I watched him confront the
I was when he fed the five thousand
I heard the people gasp when he the lame
You see man I remember the littlest things

The things that folks would forget
Like the simple, loving way Hed just call my
Up at the grave rolled away
With a loud voice Jesus started to say,
You see it just seems yesterday
I could hear man saying my name

As a of a fact it seemed like today

Excuse me brothers I think I him calling me now

Lazarus,
Lazarus,
Lazarus,
Lazarus, hey
Lazarus, come

Come forth, I command you, come
Jesus said, "Lazarus, Lazarus, Lazarus forth"
Like he was saying be healed
Mountains be

When he said, "Lazarus forth
Mary weep, Martha dont moan
Here your boy comin forth"

He believeth in me
he were dead
Yet shall he
