"Knockin' on Heaven's Door" is a Bob Dylan song 1973. The girls
have been doing it now and then at least 1988. There's
something about the girls' version that kinda me... See,
the official Dylan lyric sheet has two

Though I that Dylan often sings a third verse live:

Though in every IG version I have, Amy sings the following

I see through the walls
Six white horses coming to me away

So, I don't know Amy re-wrote Dylan's third verse, or whether
it's from Dylan version I don't know. What I'm trying to say is
that I don't know whether to attribute the "six horses" line to
or to Amy.
To further complicate matters, I've got one that features a
FOURTH verse, sung by Michelle Malone. verse breaks both the
and the rhyme scheme (ABBB in favor of ABAB), so I'm willing to
bet that just Ms. Malone improvising...
