I thought that my life was deprived in a way,
I didn't see all the signs along the way,
And it took some time and some hard days to come,
For me to sit with myself and really figure out,

What I want, what I feel,
Who I am, am I real,
And what's the deal with this life,

All that I know,

It's all perfect in it's own way,
And it's gonna be okay,

And I still sometimes go back to that space,
Of giving up myself just for another taste,
But then it's not so good as I imagined it to be,
And I don't want that addiction anymore that gets ahold of me,
