One we were out on tour,
ready to do a show.

And stood an old man.

And then he sang: "I wonder if God likes music.
"Will there be a place up to sing my songs?
"Will he make my fingers like they used to be,
"So I can the chords and sing along?"

I stood there.

And he put it ever so gently.

The stood up and applauded

And I can still hear his today.

"Will there be a place up there to my songs?
"Will he my fingers nimble like they used to be,
"So I can play the chords and along?"
