So, I'm fighting with these poems I'm writing
Treating this like my last, hoping I leave em' enlightened
I was given a gift plus I was given time
Talented with the rhymes, that's why

If you know me, then you know I've been trying
If I act like I'm perfect, then you know I've been lying
But I promise I'm worth it, steady trying to improve
It ain't easy walking in my shoes, but

And I know I'm better when I consult you
I don't wanna be lukewarm, I don't wanna insult you
And I know that you watching, countless times you forgave me
This for all my family that raised me

I just wanna make you proud, wanna make you smile
I just wanna make you proud to call me your child
I just want you, want you to purify my heart

Still no alcohol or weed when I deal with stress

This type of pain, most people can't relate to it

I won't complain long as I'm breathing
