Being your slave, what I do but tend
the hours and times of your desire?
I have no precious at all to spend,
Nor to do, till you require.
Nor dare I chide the world-without-end
Whilst I, my sovereign, the clock for you,
Nor think the bitterness of absence
you have bid your servant once adieu;
Nor dare I question with my jealous
Where you may be, or your suppose,
But, a sad slave, stay and think of nought
Save, you are how happy you make those.
So a fool is love that in your will,
you do any thing, he thinks no ill.
