Hope

one woman one child,
just holding onto one another
new to this thing called life
what will they do?

little tears falling all around the little girl,
as she is watching tears falling from her mothers eye
why does it hurt so much
to be loved by somebody?

looking all round the streets watching people walking by, is there anybody in the world that cares anymore, all they wanted was a new life in the world, why can't anybody give them a chance, girl looks at there hands in their pockets, wondering if change would fall out, , come on give us a chance,

hunger pains grow in their hearts
for better things to come their way
she can see the stars in her little girls eyes
being a singer, doctor, or maybe being a woman
