Iheard it on the news today
Everybody's got the blues today
These things affect us all
So, many people went to church and prayed
I was among the ones who stayed
I stayed at home
All alone
See I've got no place to go
Except to the people that I know
Wasn't in the mood to go into a bar
And at church I can't express my grief

And I can't express what I haven't got

I ended up going anyway
