He sees the streets where the dead come to play
They never lived while alive
Were never claimed, so now they cry

Now he's alone again

"Sheep. Cowards."
He whispered as he stood in the rain
He couldn't feel their pain
But he knew that tonight he would see them again
All the ghosts of his mind

He stand there like a statue in the night
Did he do it? He can't recall
Their fingers pointing, the arm of the law
No! Sticks, spits, fire and stone - No!
He was just alone

The loner at the edge of town
The big guy, often mistaken for the tall and handsome son of the mayor
Who likes his knives and the fire and hate burns in his eyes
Oh his stare, he was there, he remembers his stare
Ran right past him, he held an axe
And he gave it to me
There was blood on the axe

So the people find him guilty and they wanted him dead
Found a madman with a vengeance
Had him sharpen his blade
Now we see his eye change
Now he holds the axe
Round and round it goes
