Christmas is done!
It's time for a show on the living floor.

it harder for my family not to adore me
When I dressed as a lovable Christmas elf,

I take my -
The purples, browns, and -
The perfect to draw on an attention-getting bruise.
I myself a beautiful, big black eye.
And my dad comes in I spin a lie as I cry

When I was to tie my shoelace.
And when I pulled my back,
I pulled it so that I hit myself in the face.

And I got his attention.

Every day after
Mrs. picks me up.
Mrs. Thornton's our next door
She me juice in a Dixie cup.
My parents make me stay her -
I'm sure give her money.
And a nice enough lady,
But her smells a little funny.

And always taking naps,
So I'm always bored.

I can see my own backyard,
And I get there.

So I see this as my chance to get at Mom and Dad.

So I into her kitchen.
I am and I'm annoyed.
Her linoleum stretches out for a mile.
And I'm not leaving I see it destroyed.
I pour bleach all the floor,
Then I salt all over the bleach.
Then I sure the door locks,
As I dance around Ms.
The air is of Clorox,
And the ground is of Morton's Salt.
But it's not my fault no one was paying attention.
So I out the front door,
And I home to my house.

And later night my mom's washing my hair in the tub.
The phone rings and my heart stops right in mid-scrub.
She leaves the for a moment, then comes back.
"Did you Mrs. Thornton's house today?"
"No."
"Did you bleach and salt on her kitchen floor?"
"No."
she shakes her head, and she leaves me alone in the tub.
And now the shampoo's down.
And it I should mention,
That it doesn't matter cause at least I got her attention.

I want more opportunities to stand out the crowd!
"Give me attention please!" I shout it loud and proud
I know why I need it or what I want attention for!
But I know that when I get it I just attention more!

And one day what I am for will finally be clear to me.
I know when,
But I know then all this will end.
