Flower

I have found a flower
somewhere in this polluted garden
wanted to take it with me
but its thorns were sharp as knives

and I came back every hour
to water up this gorgeous flower
but it didn't seem to grow
i can't leave it alone

One day I touched it's body
and from then I bled in order
to keep it satisfied
I should of just let it die

but now in the name of nature
I will something that's greater
Ill bleed out on the floor
while the flower
the flowers knocking on my door

and then a day has come
where I left its thorns alone
and I stitched up all my wounds
thought it seemed like its too soon
and I learned a valid lesson
"prettiest flowers are the worst ones"
and instead I should just look
for the ones that want to be picked up

But now in the name of nature
I will something that's greater
Ill bleed out on the floor
while the flower
the flowers knocking on my door
