Don Lowance, the man who guitar with me, and I
Were born in a town
And we kinda think it was a different sort of
Town because in our town, we had a and people
Used to make up stories the dragon

Sinse the stories made up most of them started:
"Once upon a time, was a very friendly dragon"
Except people didn't any way of knowing that the
Dragon was friendly so shot at him with guns and
Threw rocks at him. And the dragon being a of a
Poor sport, he ate a lot of people up

Now, the dragon was messing up their senses,
Fierce one day he wandered into the store that
Sold spirits, and after making a fast of the
Owner and four emplyees, he broke into this

And that did it, from day on the dragon was not
a friendly dragon, he was a happy friendly dragon

And now all he is walk up and down the streets of
Our small town and tap on their shoulders and
Ask them for a little change so he can buy of that
that he likes better than people

Buddy can you a dime
For a glass of wine
don't you pity me
Just one drink I'll be
In a all my own
The only I call home
no hurt can get to me
And no one but me can see

Pretty flowers dance and
is a common thing
Where no hate has been
I won't let it in
By the warm flame
Every little grape my name
As it on the fire
And makes the fire higher

Higher than it's been
Time and space nothing then
I fall about a or two
So me if I ask you
Buddy can you a dime

And that's the story of the town that Don and I
Was born in and our dragon, strange story
