From darkness to light
The struggle to fight
To question the rights
To the keepers of what lies beyond
The giant leap to reliance
When it comes down to the science
You expect compliance
She's preoccupied with being her

Although she tries
Persistent the lies
Are Profound
They tell her that a rocket
Is the only way to fly
She takes the guidance
Society is gender-biased
Sometimes pressure makes her come undone
History hasn't treated her kind
