He came to the dusty Town
The people All gathered Round
They saw something in his eyes
They had not seen before
They listened as he began
To speak like no other man
And they knew that he was the one
When they heard him say

El Salvador (The Savior)
Nadie viene al padre sino... por mi (No one comes to the father but by me)
Venga, y del agua de vida toma (Come and take the water of life)

2. He came to the common man
with words we could understand
And they found themself drawn to him
By the love in his eyes
Yet, some mocked and turned away
While Other said not today
But later we'll hear the word
That this man has to say..
3. They took him outside of town
The people all gathered 'round
And they stood watching as he died
Hanged him, nailed to a tree
His body was laid to rest
But the grave couldn't hold the best
For he rose up and lives again
And the world hears him say..
