Dependency

I fought with my conscience, I defended my pride,
For selfish desires, I put You aside.
Yet deeper within me, I knew this was true,
My life is a waste if it's spent without You

So I gave it over, Lord You took control,
Turned hurting to healing, You brought light to my soul,
My heart is abandoned, laid down at Your feet,
To be filled more with You and be emptied of me,
It's all that I want, God You're all that I need.
